- Supports a continual improvement culture, encouraging engagement of all employees to identify best practices and improvement opportunities
- Supports the best practice processes, resources, and tools needed to meet quality goals
- Promotes risk and opportunity-based thinking across the organization
HOW A Senior Quality Analyst WILL MAKE AN IMPACT - Supports the Defense quality analysis process and provides support across the organization to ensure ISO standards, processes, and procedures are implemented and maintained
- OSHA experience/courses a plus
- Recommends modifications to existing, or suggests new, standards, methods, and procedures
- Assists in the coordination, execution and completion of identified annual Defense QEHS Internal Audits
- Assists in the coordination, execution and completion of identified monthly Defense QEHS Internal Audits
- Assists in the preparation for external audits and resolution of audit issues
- Helps to support program personnel functional departments with their customer or agency audits and inspections, when necessary, to achieve a successful outcome
- Maintains departmental and other process documentation supporting company operations
- Conduct Quality related orientations and trainings as needed
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: - Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of related experience in quality assurance and auditing; OR in lieu of degree, 9 yrs of related experience is required.
- Required Skills and Abilities:
- Experience internally auditing company processes to ISO standards
- Skills to constantly drive quality and safety improvements
- Adaptable interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build relationships and work with area/regional leadership and project teams that consist of a broad spectrum of experiences and priorities
- Organized and possess a high attention to detail
- Able to communicate effectively (both written and verbal)
- Microsoft Office- Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Location: Hybrid to GDIT's Chesapeake, VA office
- Some travel will be required to attend audits at various GDIT locations
- Preferred:
- EHS or QEHS experience
- Certifications - ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (within 6 months); ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor and internal EHS compliance training

The likely salary range for this position is $80,226 - $107,065. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
