Treet is a Series A, venture-backed startup, helping e-commerce brands grow responsibly through resale. The apparel resale market is projected to double in the next three years, reaching $350B worldwide by 2027; brands are leaving billions of revenue on the table and missing out on a powerful way to engage with their customers. With Treet, brands can launch their own resale experience in a matter of days, unlocking a new revenue stream, increasing customer loyalty, and reducing their carbon footprint.

👀 About you

🔎 We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build innovative resale experiences for world-class apparel brands.

Requirements

• You’re based in SF
• You have at least 4+ years of development experience as a full-stack / frontend engineer
• You have experience working with React and Javascript
• You have passion for and a good eye for UI/UX and design
• You work proactively, autonomously, and collaboratively
• You’re motivated by creating simple solutions for ambiguous complex problems
• You’re able to weigh trade-offs for different technical solutions
• You leave things better than you found it
• You care about sustainability and believe in the power of secondhand shopping

Advantageous, but not essential

• You have experience working at fast-paced startups
• You’ve worked extensively with our stack (Node.js/Express/React.js/Postgres)

💻 About the role

• You will own a large area of Treet's product experience
• You will help define and improve best practices
• You will work across the stack, and potentially even across different disciplines (e.g. analytics, product management)
• You will play an integral role in building our culture as the company grows
• You will collaborate closely with the team on shaping future roadmaps and making important product decisions.
• You will help design complex systems that scale with the company
• While your role is defined as above, there will certainly be other areas you may be called to assist with periodically (as we're a small team and sometimes wear multiple hats)
