Position: Smartsheet Developer

Location: 100% Remote

We are seeking a talented Smartsheet Developer to design, implement, and document customized project management toolset templates tailored to client-specific needs. This role will focus on developing dashboards that provide executive-level portfolio overviews, integrating key project management components, and ensuring that the tools created streamline decision-making and operations for individual and team-based projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Implementation:
  • Design, implement, and document project management toolset templates tailored to client-specific requirements.
  • Develop dashboards that consolidate individual project data and offer executive-level portfolio overviews.
• Integration:
  • Integrate critical project management components such as risk registers, change control mechanisms, and issue logs into the Smartsheet templates.
• Best Practices & Documentation:
  • Establish and document best practices for Smartsheet usage, ensuring alignment with both the developed tools and overall project requirements.
• Requirements Gathering & Tool Optimization:
  • Participate in stakeholder requirements gathering sessions to understand business needs and refine tools for optimization.
• Business Needs Translation:
  • Translate business needs and project data into effective Smartsheet tools that support decision-making and operations.
• Workflow & Notifications:
  • Configure workflows and notifications for individuals, teams, and executives to streamline communications and operations.
• Template Standardization:
  • Ensure that developed toolsets can be replicated and used as standardized templates for future projects.
• Database Aggregation & Knowledge Management:
  • Implement database aggregation for intake data to support effective knowledge management and future project reference.
• Ongoing Tool Development:
  • Address additional tool-related requirements as they are identified throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Experience designing and developing customized Smartsheet templates and dashboards.
• Strong understanding of project management concepts and tools, including risk registers, change control, and issue logs.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into intuitive project management tools.
• Familiarity with workflows and automation features within Smartsheet.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and executives.
