Kelly® Professional & Industrial is actively seeking an experienced SMT Operator to join a prominent manufacturing facility in Melbourne, FL. Our comprehensive job offering includes:

• Work Schedule: Monday – Friday
  • 1st shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
  • 2nd shift: 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
  • 3rd shift: 11:00 pm to 7:30 am
• Pay Rate: $16+ BOE + 10% shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
• Type: Temp to Permanent placement

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and maintain a variety of equipment including screen printers, glue machines, reflow ovens, SMT placement machines, stencil cleaners, and conveyors used in the assembly of Printed Circuit Boards.
• Interface with complex machine hardware and software.
• Identify and report defective components, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of work performed.
• Uphold established workmanship standards for product quality.
• Follow written and verbal instructions, maintain data logs, and maintain cleanliness in the work area.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• 18 months of experience in SMT equipment operation.
• IPC-A-610 Certification is preferred.
• ESD Training.
• Knowledge of component identification and nomenclature.
• Proficiency in component handling, including ESD requirements.
• Basic computer skills, problem-solving, and workstation skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to perform job functions using written procedures, verbal instructions, and visual aids.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to prioritize and organize workload for handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with ISO9001 and IPC-610 requirements.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Must be a US Person as defined in 22 CRF Part 120.15, including U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees and those granted asylum in the United States, and temporary residents granted amnesty, as the work involves ITAR controlled technical data.
