Medix is now seeking Social Workers and Marriage & Family Therapists for a school-based therapy position in the Porter Ranch area!

**PART TIME also available.

School Hours: Mon - Fri (8am-2pm)

Pay:

• AMFT/ACSW = $25/hr - $28/hr

Requirements:

• Must be registered with the BBS, open to new grads!
• Previous experience working with children or adolescents.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Patient Population: Middle/high school students, primarily 8th-12th grade with mild to moderate mental health issues including ADHD, aggression, depression, etc
• Individual Therapy Sessions: Conducting 1:1 therapy sessions with students.
• students out of classes as needed for therapy sessions.
• Behavior Observation/Assessment: Actively observing and assessing student behaviors in the classroom environment.
• Identifying triggers, patterns, and potential areas for intervention.
• Counseling Session Structure: Providing each student with 1 hour of counseling per week, sessions are often split into two 30-minute sessions.
• Caseload/Documentation: Primary focus is direct client care which mean little to no documentation with a larger caseload
