Lead Superintendent | Allied Resources Technical Consultants

About the Position:

Allied Resources is looking for a Lead Superintendent for a leading Life Sciences Construction firm outside of Boston, MA. This position provides an excellent compensation and benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k with a company match, discount programs, and more!

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the coordination and execution of construction activities within a project, ensuring adherence to specifications, budget, and timelines.
• Take charge of managing projects of varying complexity levels.
• Coordinate, plan, and provide supervision to craft superintendents, contractors, and craft activities involved in the projects.
• Supervise multiple discipline superintendents and scopes of work, managing direct construction work valued at $50 million and above independently, with minimal guidance from senior leadership.
• Play a mentoring role in supporting the development of other staff members.

Qualifications:

• Strong leadership skills to manage and mentor others effectively.
• Proven track record in successfully managing construction projects of medium to large scale.
• Experience in Design/Build projects is advantageous.
• Must possess the ability to comprehend project specifications thoroughly and recognize deviations in the field.
• Excellent planning skills, particularly in utilizing Lean Tools for scheduling, constructability, and sequencing.
• Demonstrated competence in project management software and reporting tools, with specific experience in PlanGrid preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile devices and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) applications is beneficial.
• Expertise in a specific discipline such as Mechanical, Electrical, Piping/Plumbing, Automation, or Instrumentation & Control is desired.
