Position Overview

As a Surgical Technologist in our OR/Trauma team, you will:

• Provide technical support to the surgical team by preparing and maintaining equipment and instrumentation, ensuring the surgical field remains sterile, and anticipating the needs of surgeons and anesthesiologists.
• Assist during procedures (e.g., sponge/suction, hold retractors, apply electrocautery, connect drains, apply dressings) and manage instrument care once the case is complete.
• Be prepared to scrub in trauma cases, open‑heart procedures (when trained), and contribute to efficient room turnovers and patient safety.
• Serve patients across the lifespan — neonatal through geriatric — in a fast‑paced surgical environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Completion of a formal Surgical Technologist school program or hospital‑based training program or at least 1 year of OR technologist experience required.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Computer literacy (able to complete online learning, access forms/policies, enroll in benefits).
• Strong English reading, writing and speaking skills.
