Job Title: System Access Administrator

Location : Lake County, IL

Contract Duration : 1 Year

Schedule : 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday

Role Overview:

A leading healthcare and pharmaceutical organization is seeking a System Access Administrator to support its physical security and access control systems . This role focuses on managing badge access, maintaining user data across security platforms, and ensuring efficient coordination between departments such as HR, Talent Acquisition, and Security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage access requests for offsite and contractor personnel
• Troubleshoot badge and access issues, and maintain system records
• Program access badges using systems like Lenel , Genetec , and EPACS
• Process requests for secure area access, including controlled substances, executive zones, and security-restricted locations
• Maintain approver lists and update workflows via SharePoint
• Respond to inquiries through the access control hotline and mailbox
• Support HR and recruitment teams by verifying background checks for external personnel
• Submit weekly access control reports to the internal business systems team

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience working with Lenel , Genetec , or similar access control systems
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Excel , Outlook )
• Proficiency with SharePoint for documentation and workflow updates
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service capabilities
• Ability to work effectively in a secure, regulated environment
• Background in security operations is a plus, though not required
