Akkodis is seeking an System Admin for a contract position with a client located Hybrid: 2 Days/week in Newark (100 Commerce Drive).
Pay Range: $30-35/HR on W2 The pay rate may vary based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled System Administrator to manage and maintain our Windows Server and VMware environment.
Responsibilities:
The candidate will oversee deployment, administration, security remediation, and troubleshooting of Windows-based servers and virtualization infrastructure.
Requirements:
This role requires expertise in Active Directory, O365, Windows platforms, and VMware, along with experience in PowerShell scripting, networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls), and monitoring tools. Familiarity with hybrid AD/O365 environments and cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is advantageous, as is Citrix experience. The ideal candidate will bring strong problem-solving abilities, a detail-oriented mindset, and excellent communication skills while collaborating with cross-functional teams. A minimum of 3 years of system administration experience in a Windows and VMware environment is required.
