Klinker Brick Winery is looking for part time weekend Tasting Room Associates to join our team. We are looking for individuals that have a passion for wine knowledge and have exceptional customer service skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet all visitors to the tasting room and pour wines responsibly.
Create a memorable experience for the guests.
Acquire and maintain thorough knowledge of Klinker Brick history and its wines.
Describe and answer questions about wines to visitors.
Able to describe and promote wine club.
Be an ambassador of the Lodi Grape Growing Region by recommending local wineries, restaurants and attractions
Work in a “Team” atmosphere where consistency, fairness, general cheerfulness, flexibility, positivity and the willingness to change are practiced at all times.
Handle routine sales transactions which include operating cash register and accounting of daily sales.
Assist with display and stocking of retail items and wines.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness of facilities.
Maintain outdoor patio and grounds.
Assist with hospitality for special events as needed.
Represent winery at outside functions as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by tasting room supervisor or manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Wine related experience helpful.
Knowledge of wines and wine production.
Have a passion for wine sales and want to be part of a fun team that thrives on excellence in customer service and high standards.
Proficient on the computer.
Excellent oral communication and presentation skills.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work with enthusiasm within constantly changing priorities.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Have reliable transportation.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to bend, squat, climb, push, stoop, and crouch repeatedly.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods as required by job duties.
Must be able to lift up to 40lbs on a regular basis.
Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
