TAX ACCOUNTANT

OVERVIEW OF THE TAX ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct tax research and stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather necessary financial information for tax filings.
• Identify and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
• Assist in responding to tax authorities' inquiries and audits.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE TAX ACCOUNTANT:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in tax accounting.
• Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Excel. Previous experience with MS Dynamics a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
