Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Territory Sales Manager to join our growing B2B sales team. This role will report directly to the Head of Sales and will be responsible for managing relationships with key accounts, driving revenue growth, and expanding our distribution network. As a key player in our team, you will build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale partners and retailers, helping them succeed while ensuring the seamless promotion of VIIA’s products. This role will require time spent in the field and visiting accounts. you will be responsible for owning a full sales cycle from prospect to close. MUST LIVE IN Charlotte, NC!

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Build and maintain relationships with wholesale, retail, and distribution partners to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Growth: Meet or exceed sales targets by identifying new opportunities within your portfolio and acquiring new business.
  • Client Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, providing product education, sales tools, and resolving any customer concerns.
  • Product Promotion: Collaborate with partners to plan product launches, promotions, and marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility and sales.
  • Sales Reporting: Track and report sales performance, pipeline, and opportunities to the Head of Sales, providing data-driven insights for improvement.
  • Market Feedback: Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitive activities, sharing valuable feedback with the product and marketing teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the operations, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment on partner needs and product availability.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years of sales or account management experience. Prior experience in local Hemp, Beverage, Supplements, or other CPG industries is ideal.
  • Sales Skills: Proven ability to build strong client relationships, manage accounts, and exceed sales targets.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the hemp and CBD space.
  • Customer Focus: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen, understand client needs, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Analytical Ability: Comfortable using data to drive decisions, track progress, and report on sales performance.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to partners and internal teams.
  • Tools: Experience with CRM platforms and sales management tools. Reliable transportation for daily in-person territory management, store visits, marketing events etc.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
