A Day in the Life of a TESOL Teacher at PSI

As a TESOL Teacher , your key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality and engaging English language lessons across different educational settings.
  • Conducting language proficiency assessments to evaluate the needs of students and inform lesson planning.
  • Designing instructional plans that address the academic and functional needs of English Language Learners (ELLs).
  • Collaborating with other teachers and school staff to promote academic success and social integration for ELL students.
  • Helping children overcome language barriers while building confidence and academic skills.

What We're Looking For:

To be considered for this TESOL Teacher position at PSI, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • TESOL or TEFL Certificate (required).
  • Bachelor's degree (required).
  • Teaching License issued by the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) (preferred).
  • Spanish fluency (preferred, but not required).
  • Experience working with ELL students in a classroom setting is a plus.
