Schedule - Monday-Friday Graveyard Shift 7:30pm to 4:00am
Full Time - Pay Range $25 to $30 per hour based on experience What You'd Be Doing
  • Respond promptly to incoming support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and report on technical issues related to P21, PathGuide, Global Shop, Microsoft Office, and other commonly used software.
  • Maintain basic knowledge of software operations, including login problems, performance issues, and application errors.
  • Conduct basic hardware troubleshooting to identify and resolve common hardware-related problems.
  • Assist in the setup and deployment of desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals for end- users.
  • Configure hardware components, including installing operating systems, software applications, and drivers.
  • Create and maintain user accounts, email profiles, and access permissions for various software applications.
  • Assist in onboarding new employees by setting up their user accounts, workstations, and access to necessary systems.
  • Provide user support for account password resets, account lockouts, and access issues.
  • Maintain an average response time of 15 minutes to incoming support requests.
  • Achieve a minimum issue resolution rate of 75% for Tier 1 support.
  • Collaborate with Tier 2 technicians to escalate hardware-related incidents for further analysis and resolution.
  • Collaborate with other Tier 2 technicians for knowledge transfer and support consistency.
  • Document hardware troubleshooting procedures and solutions for reference.
  • Communicate technical solutions and next steps to end-users professionally.
  • Respond to and resolve IT-related incidents during shifts, escalating complex issues to Tier 2 or appropriate teams when necessary.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Education/Experience/Skills

  • Proven experience (approximately one year) in providing technical support in an IT helpdesk environment.
  • Solid understanding of ERP-based software, and other commonly used business-related applications.
  • Proficiency in user account management, email setup, and access control, particularly within Azure Active Directory and Microsoft 365.

  • Proficiency in using remote support tools for assisting users remotely.
  • Knowledge of IT hardware, operating systems, and network concepts.
