About the Role

We are seeking a Traveling Install & Move Crew Lead to take on apartment setup projects across the country. This is not a local job. If you’re not ready to be on the road week after week, city after city, this isn’t the role for you.

You’ll be responsible for bringing at least one crew member with you and having the ability to source and manage additional labor in new markets as needed. From unloading and assembly to painting accent walls and mounting TVs, you’ll own the full installation process.

What You’ll Do

• Travel nationwide for apartment setup projects (expect frequent, extended travel).
• Lead and manage a 2+ person crew (your team + local labor you recruit as needed).
• Unload, stage, and assemble furniture with precision.
• Paint accent walls and mount TVs/artwork to professional standards.
• Ensure every apartment is move-in ready before leaving town.

Requirements

• Must have a 2-person crew to start (yourself + one other).
• Willingness and ability to travel constantly (multi-week stretches across states).
• Experience with moving, installations, painting, and light construction.
• Insurance: General liability ($1M+) and workers’ comp.
• Own tools and reliable transportation.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
