Job Title: Rheumatology Personal Promotion Marketing Intern

Location: Atlanta, GA

Job Type: Internship (Hybrid - Onsite 2 times a week)

Educational Standing: Junior, Senior

Dates: May 19 - August 1st 2025

Must be able to attend first day in person

UCB is looking for a self-driven, upper-level undergraduate or graduate student to intern with our Rheumatology Marketing Team. Students must have an interest in marketing, content development, business analytics, immunology, and/or the healthcare industry. The Rheumatology Marketing Team is in it’s first full year of launch with an exciting new Biologic, and this opportunity will allow for interns to gain hands on experience with soliciting insights, materials development, and rollout. If you are interested in the healthcare space, pharmaceutical industry, marketing, and/or product promotion, an internship with UCB will give you meaningful insights into the process of launching a biologic within it’s first year of launch. This is a very exciting opportunity for a young marketer or business major, regardless of experience, to work alongside marketers and sales specialists as part of an integrated project team.

Responsibilities may include:

· Providing support to the marketing team as they produce pieces ahead of (RC) review

· Authoring straightforward implementation guides for new materials

· Participating in marketing feedback councils to assess field effectiveness of materials

· Ideation sessions regarding strategy and execution with tactics

· Meetings and Conventions content development

Learning objectives include:

· Understanding the development processes of various marketing tactics from agency to RC review to rollout

· Practicing the art of insights and feedback generation with sales and marketing as to how to ask questions and listen for actionable content

· Building a foundation of knowledge in pharmaceutical marketing, collaboration, and cross-functional partnership to drive collective success

· Gaining commercial and business acumen through exposure to various functions with UCB’s matrix organization

Qualifications

  • Willingness to and/or experience with collaborating in a matrixed environment with numerous internal/external teams (sales, managed markets, market research, regulatory, medical affairs, global department, public relations, clinical development, etc.)
  • Proven track record of organizational skills to be productive in an environment of and the ability to multitask across stakeholder groups
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact across a wide variety of audiences including members of management.
  • Demonstrated project management
  • Display solid ethics and a fit for UCB's core values and beliefs
