Equity Staffing Group is hiring for a ORV (Off-Road Vehicle) Mechanic – Vehicle Inventory Reduction Contractor in Eden, TX!

Hours: Monday-Friday Second Shift: 2:30pm – 11pm

Pay: $24-$27/hr

JOB SUMMARY:

• Refurbish and scrap off-road vehicles. Maintain vehicle records in desktop inventory systems.
• Support ORV Engineering facility operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain organization of vehicle inventory
• Prepare vehicles for sale – perform updates and service. May include replacing large components (engines, transmissions, frames, etc.)
• Perform vehicle inspections on provided tablet
• Assisting in vehicle sale processing
• Help maintain vehicle inventory via desktop inventory systems
• Prepare vehicles for scrap – drain fluids, remove batteries, etc.
• Assist ORV Development team with track and trail maintenance
• Oversee storage areas (mezzanine, pallet racking, vehicle storage).

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

• High school diploma required
• 2-Year degree in technical field preferred
• Basic computer skills required
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must be capable of operating fork lifts
• Skid Loader experience preferred
• Powersports experience preferred
• Data acquisition & diagnostic tool experience preferred
• Fabrication & welding preferred
• Minimum 3 years mechanic or technician experience preferred

TRAVEL:

• May be required for inventory management at plants or warehouses
