Now Hiring: Warehouse Worker

:

A North Central Connecticut-based parts and service company is seeking a full-time Warehouse Worker. Our company stocks equipment and replacement parts in its main warehouse and in various kits.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay: $20.00/hr

Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and stock incoming shipments

  • Pull inventory for transactional sales and kit restocks on sales orders

  • Collaborate with office staff to maintain excellent customer service by ensuring orders are pulled, packed, and shipped correctly

  • Package orders for shipment through various methods including FedEx, UPS, DHL, and various freight companies to ensure no damage during transit

  • Process and ship vendor warranty returns

  • Maintain a clean and organized inventory, warehouses, outside areas around buildings, and main office area

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

  • Operate forklift and other material handling equipment (training available)

  • Requires occasional lifting and driving company pickup for deliveries

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years prior experience with a clear understanding of warehouse operations

  • Fork truck operation experience is a must

  • Must be a self-starter with strong organizational skills

  • Dependable and able to pass a background check

  • Valid driver's license

Additional Details:

  • This role will eventually include learning the pallet jack, forklift, and material handling.

  • The candidate must be good with numbers and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
