Job Description

A partner of Insight Global is looking to add a Utilities System Specialist to their team. The Utilities Systems Specialist position has the responsibility to ensure the proper operation and maintenance of all facility water systems and equipment. Take corrective action and repair equipment, as necessary. Provide appropriate notification and documentation of all work performed. Daily activities will include performing water systems testing, PMs, troubleshooting systems, mechanical and electrical repairs related to water systems and other tasks involving various operations and repairs within a cGMP manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities :

• Overall operation, repair, water sampling and maintenance of water treatment operations
• Operate, maintain, monitor controls, and perform repairs to all water process equipment, including pumps, motors, blowers, air compressors, chemical feed systems and basic laboratory equipment to ensure that treated water meets discharge quality standards
• Basic knowledge of water systems, operational techniques and safety compliance, instrumentation, and controls.
• Provide technical assistance for investigations when equipment or system failure occurs.
• Oversee technical repairs performed by outside contractors on water related equipment.

Requirements :

• 5 years experience with water systems work in manufacturing or commercial environment
• Working knowledge of local and state (florida) water codes
• Extensive experience maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing water systems
• Experience in a cGMP, Pharmaceutical/Biological manufacturing environment
• High degree of professionalism; ability to deal sensitively with confidential information

Compensation: $78,000 to $80,000 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education
