Job Description

We are seeking a Yard Driver to join our Wilmington, MA team. If you have warehouse experience, a strong work ethic and the ability to sweat through 8-hours of fast-paced shift, a Yard Driver position with CHEP could be a great fit!

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• As a Yard Driver you will assist operations in an active trailer yard, performing a variety of duties including operating a spotter truck. Candidates will have at least six months of yard driver experience in a vehicle of similar size and weight. Proficiency in backing trailers into dock doors and parking slips. Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the trailer yard through daily yard audits.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid driver’s
• Climb in and out of the spotter truck numerous times per day, hooking and unhooking trailers

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Commercial driving experience
