About this role:

Our prior success has been driven through growing a loyal customer base and selling directly though our Shopify store. We are now seeking a Marketplace Growth Manager to lead the launch, management, and optimization of our products across new digital marketplaces, starting with Amazon in Q2, but also owning all other third-party marketplaces including Target Plus, Faire, Shop App, Tik Tok, Shop, Staples and others. This is a pivotal role for a growth-minded individual passionate about scaling and managing sales channels for a time tested brand poised for it's next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketplace Strategy & Launch: Develop and execute strategies for launching products on Amazon and other marketplaces, ensuring alignment with brand, pricing, and profitability goals.
  • Channel Management: Manage day-to-day operations of marketplace accounts, including product listings, pricing strategies, promotions, and inventory management across all marketplaces
  • Sales Growth: Identify and implement tactics to optimize product visibility, conversion rates, and overall sales performance across marketplaces.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze performance data, generate insights, and provide regular reports to leadership on KPIs, trends, and growth opportunities.
  • Optimization: Conduct competitor and market analysis to refine product listings, keywords, and strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment with business objectives.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with marketplace account managers and key platform partners such as our Amazon rep, Amazon partner agency and other key vendors.
  • Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all listings and operations adhere to marketplace policies, brand standards, and legal compliance.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in e-commerce marketplace management, with proven success on platforms like Amazon, Target Plus, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of marketplace dynamics, including SEO, advertising, and merchandising strategies.
  • Proven track record in scaling Amazon revenue and improving profitability.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive actionable insights.
  • Experience in developing and executing growth strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Expertise in data-driven decision-making, using tools like Amazon Brand Analytics, Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or other eCommerce analytics platforms.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Experience managing Amazon promotional levers (Lightning Deals, Best Deals, Coupons).
  • Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, or similar analytics tools for reporting and forecasting.
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration across sales, marketing, and supply chain teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
