Job Description

Required skill:

• The ability to write and run Structure Query language (SQL)
• The ability to write and run an AS400 Query (Query Management)
• The ability to Setup and make changes within the Robot Job Scheduler
• The ability to read a dump and understand what caused the failure
• The ability to use Microsoft Excel to transfer data to and from the AS400 (ODBC)
• The ability to edit and view files using the DBU utility
• Knowledge of how to use NDM (Network Data Movement) and read the statistics on the AS400
• The ability to work with Developers and Lines of Business
• The ability to Lead and Develop Detail Testing Senarios
• Must be a Self-Starter and a quick learner and be able to work with little supervision
• Must have some understanding of DB2 files and multiple member files
• Must show confidence, take the lead and be willing to make decisions

Desired skill:

• The ability to read with a general level of understanding Report Program Generator (RPG)/FREE code and Control Language (CL) code
• A general understanding of AS400 Security and how it works
• A general understanding of Web Applications
• A general understanding of LINUX
• The ability to use remote access tools to connect to LINUX systems
• The ability to navigate LINUX file systems
