Communications Associate

Investment Bank is seeking an initiative-taking and experienced Communications Associate with exceptional attention to detail to join our Marketing Communications team. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping to manage and execute our communications strategy, enhancing the brand, and fostering strong relationships with media and spokespeople.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, pitch and coordinate media interviews for investment bankers and respond to incoming media inquiries
• Research and secure speaking engagements
• Content Creation and Editing
• Draft press releases, media pitches and internal communications
• Assist with podcast development
• Collaborate closely with other team members to promote public appearances, media coverage and reports
• Manage and expand media database
• Assist with media monitoring, tracking and reporting for the team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required. Preference for Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or Public Relations
• 5+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or related role. Experience or knowledge of investment banking or other professional services field a plus
• Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Knowledge of media monitoring tools and databases
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
