Job Summary

Place Services Inc. (PSI) is looking for a Traveling Construction Superintendent in Texas to join our West Region .

The Superintendent will be the eyes and ears on the client site who drives the project to completion. The Superintendent will also work closely with the Project Manager and the subcontractors to ensure PSI’s project is completed on time, on budget, and safely.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, inspect, and approve day-to-day operations of commercial construction projects.
• Compile all required on-site paperwork.
• Coordinate construction project with store management, subcontractors, and PSI employees.
• Provide direct accountability for job safety reporting and documentation.
• Maintain construction schedules and timelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of prior construction superintendent experience required.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and specs and ensure that all scopes are completed in accordance with prints and specs.
• Comfortability with Construction software like Procore, Bluebeam, Planswift, etc.
• Experience with big box / open store remodels preferred.
• Possesses qualities like integrity, honesty, proactiveness, and positivity.
