Role Description:

Our Fintech client in Alpharetta is looking for a full time controller to join their team. This position will report to the VP of Financial Operations. The current accounting team includes five employees. This role will initially be hybrid, onsite 3 days a week in Alpharetta. Potential to transition to full-time remote in the future.
Priorities for Role
Audit readiness (for sponsor banks)
Monthly reporting / Close optimization
Establishing accounting processes and procedures
Familiarity with Technical Accounting Concepts (specifically revenue recognition)
Ideal candidate will have significant payment processing experience and NetSuite

Your Qualifications:

• CPA or MBA, preferred
• Fintech experience preferred
• Significant payment processing experience required
• 2+ years of controllership experience
• 7+ years of accounting experience; background in public accounting preferred
• Revenue Recognition and general familiarity with Technical Accounting concepts.
• NetSuite experience preferred
• Willing to be on site 3 days per week
