Position Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Cost Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cost accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate financial information. This position will report to the Controller, who is a great leader and enjoys mentoring those on the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze production costs and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Maintain accurate cost accounting records and systems.
• Collaborate with production and procurement teams to ensure cost efficiency.
• Perform variance analysis and monitor inventory valuations.
• Support internal audits and compliance efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
