Position: Crisis Counselor
Location: Columbia, MD
Pay Range: $25 - $27 / Hourly
Employment: Full-Time, Permanent
The shifts available:
6 PM to 2 AM, Thurs to Mon ($25 to $27)
10 AM - 6 PM, Sat - Wed ($25 to $27)
6 PM - 2 AM, Sat - Wed ($25 to $27)
You would be expected to be onsite during the first 5 weeks of training, then would transition to remote, work from home .
After training, Counselors expected onsite 2x per month.
Training Schedule:
Week 1: Virtual Training (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm)
Week 2 - 4: Onsite training (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm)
Weeks 5 - 6: Onsite training Mon-Fri 6pm-2am)
Week 7: Work from home/hybrid (Move into shift schedule)
Job Description :
An employer is looking for a highly skilled Online Crisis Chat Counselor to join a growing team for a hybrid opportunity in Columbia, Maryland. This role requires 5 weeks of onsite training at their Columbia, Maryland facility. After the initial training, you are required to go on site 2x/month for in-person feedback and quality assurance coaching sessions. In this role you will be responsible for providing online emotional support to individuals utilizing Crisis Chat and Text services including crisis intervention, emotional support, and resources to all contacts. This includes online communication via email and chat, no phone work is required in this role.
