We are one of the largest distributors of natural stone slabs, poured-in-place terrazzo, and quartz surfacing. We are looking for a Full-Time, Permanent Design Consultant. The primary responsibilities involve assisting customers, including designers, architects, and builders, in selecting materials in the showroom.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer incoming showroom calls and provide customer service.
• Responds to all inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintains and nurtures existing client relationships.
• Assist in material selections.
• Maintain showroom appearance.
• Possess and maintain industry product knowledge.
• Cross-trained to assist in the customer service department when needed
• Performs other duties as assigned by the manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college, or six months to one year experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in order processing systems.
• Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
• Creative, flexible, and innovative team player
• Demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals or groups at all levels of an organization
• Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
