Job Title: IT Technical Helpdesk Specialist

Location: Pflugerville TX Onsite

Duration: 12 months

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled IT Technical Helpdesk Specialist with expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM), a strong Microsoft background, and experience in network issue resolution , debugging , crash assessment , and network testing . The ideal candidate will provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems for our users in Austin.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in an IT helpdesk or technical support role.
• Strong expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems and applications.
• Solid understanding of network technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, ITIL Foundation).
• Experience with network diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with remote support tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of security best practices and data protection.
