Job description: Client Parks is seeking qualified candidates with a passion for providing park guests with a high-quality service during their visits to Park on the shores of Lake Buchanan. This position will engage with park guests to provide a seamless, enjoyable stay from arrival to departure, whether they are camping in the park or simply enjoying one of our many activities such as hiking, kayaking, canoeing, mini-golf and more for the day!
Essential Functions: Customer Service: Assist in greeting customers upon arrival, as well as facilitating check-in for day-use and overnight guests by handling cash and credit card transactions. Provide information on pricing, activities, and other recreational offerings at each park including, kayaking, canoeing, mini-golf, and more. Responsible for merchandise/retail sales in the Mobile Gift Shop, inventory, & equipment rental processes. Other Park-related duties such as monitoring parks for cleanliness, checking public park facilities, performing light administrative duties, etc. This general overview only includes the main responsibilities of the temporary assignment and does not imply that these are the only duties to be performed. Temporary workers might be assigned other job-related duties requested by management.
Minimum Requirements: Exude a passion for sharing the outdoors with guests. Experience in customer service or people-oriented industry. Must be an enthusiastic self-starter who enjoys working in the outdoors and with people. Must have a valid Texas driver’s license. Employment contingent upon negative results of post offer criminal background check. Participation and completion of CPR/First Aid within 30 days of assignment.
