Job Description
Due to an increase in current and upcoming pressfit machine orders, we are seeking a skilled Electrical Assembly Technician to support the growing demand. This role is focused on electrical wiring, system integration, and diagnostics. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in electrical systems, control panel wiring, and automation equipment assembly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts
- Assemble, route, and terminate wire harnesses with proper crimping, soldering, and cable management
- Perform accurate and safe electrical testing using multimeters, continuity testers, and megohmmeters
- Integrate and troubleshoot sensors, actuators, servo motors, and other automation components
- Support the installation and setup of PLC systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.)
- Wire and test VFDs, stepper motors, and other motor control components
- Conduct signal tracing, loop checks, and verify I/O signals between PLCs and field devices
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in control panels, relays, fuses, and breakers
- Perform root cause analysis and preventive actions for recurring electrical issues
- Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in electrical wiring or assembly within a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints
- Working knowledge of automation systems, PLCs, and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, etc.)
- Experience with HMI systems and industrial control equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift or lift certification (optional but preferred)
