About the Role:

We are seeking a Transmission Line Designer to support high-voltage transmission projects across the state. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing detailed transmission line designs, supporting cost estimates, and working collaboratively with engineers, estimators, and field staff to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare transmission line design packages using tools such as PLS-CADD
• Support project scoping and cost estimating efforts for new and existing transmission lines
• Perform structure spotting, conductor selection, and clearance analysis
• Develop design documentation, construction drawings, and bills of materials
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure designs adhere to NESC
