Job Title: Senior Project Manager, Events

Location: Hybrid, Irvine, CA

Pay: $70-75/hr

Duration: 6 months (potential for extension or full-time)

Travel Requirements: Ability to travel internationally up-to 10%

Job Summary:

The Senior Project Manager, Events is responsible for end-to-end event planning and project management for both internal and external events, including All Hands meetings, the Aesthetic Diversity Summit, the Science of Aging Symposium, and the Skincare R&D Summit. This role also supports Culture, Capabilities, and Onboarding initiatives.

This position requires expertise in event execution, stakeholder coordination, and compliance within a highly regulated environment. The Project Manager ensures seamless event experiences, drives engagement, and aligns activities with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Management (60%)

• Plan and execute events, including location scouting, logistics coordination, vendor management, and onsite execution.
• Manage creative agencies, RFPs, and vendor SLAs.
• Oversee event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and compliance.
• Develop communication plans and manage event materials.
• Collaborate with Business Technology and Digital teams to enhance virtual event processes.
• Handle PO, invoicing, and payments for all events.

Operations & Project Support (30%)

• Develop content for functional team presentations.
• Maintain and enhance SharePoint for process improvements.
• Support large-scale projects related to onboarding, culture, and process improvements.

Industry Knowledge & Compliance (10%)

• Stay updated on event industry trends, travel guidelines, and venue options.
• Ensure all events comply with pharmaceutical codes and governance requirements.
• Manage timely payments for key stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or Project Management.
• 7+ years of experience in event/conference management, preferably in a regulated industry.
• Strong project management skills with experience leading global initiatives.
• Expertise in MS Office, SharePoint, and Smartsheet.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Proven ability to create and deliver high-quality presentations to senior leadership.
