Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

• Examines pharmacy equipment and facilities for wear and function.
• Initiates repairs and maintenance to facilities and equipment.
• Performs on-site repairs to facilities and equipment whenever possible.
• Procures replacement equipment as necessary.
• Researches alternate methods, equipment and cost savings/improvements.
• Under the direction of the manager, hire outside contractors for performing local service at the pharmacies. Supervises work of contractors.
• Travels to CAPS pharmacies to perform or aid in the completion of projects.
• Designs cleanrooms, equipment, and facilities.
• Initiates and manages preventative management (PM) program for the CAPS pharmacies.
• Research and implements improvements to pharmacies.
• Manages projects related to new facilities and facility improvements.

At higher levels of this position:

• Assists other CAPS departments as needed to meet company priorities.
• Ensures the pharmacies are in compliance with Federal and State (Board of Pharmacy) requirements in regards to facility design and cleanroom performance.

Required:

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 02-04 years related experience required.
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Frequent business travel required, Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed
