Are you ready to join a growing company? The Fleet General Manager will play a key role in Meiborg’s day-to-day operations. You will oversee optimizing the management and operations of the Meiborg fleet of vehicles, vehicle & driver management, logistics & operations, budget & cost management, data analysis & reporting, team building, and process improvement.
What You’ll Do:
Vehicle Management: This includes tasks such as contributing as a team member to equipment procurement, managing maintenance expenses, and ensuring equipment is productively used.
Driver Management: Fleet GM will be involved in hiring, training, and managing drivers & driver leaders, ensuring they are qualified, productive, and follow safety protocols.
Operations: They are responsible for productive use of the company’s resources, optimizing routes, helping to manage fuel expenses, and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the fleet.
Budget and Cost Management: Fleet managers must help craft and manage the budget through rolling forecasts
Data Analysis and Reporting: Fleet managers often use data to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and generate reports for management.
Customer Service: Will be responsible for delivering a tenacious level of customer service to both inside and outside customers of the fleet.
