Job Description:

The IT Support Specialist will act as the point of contact for company employees who are reporting issues, requesting information, access, or equipment. This candidate will provide outstanding customer service in a variety of ways including face-to-face, digital, self-service, and automation. This IT Support Specialist position is an integral part of our company and will assist us in continuing to reach out goals.

IT Support Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Manage Active Directory through account creation and permission access
• Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues at a high level
• Manage Microsoft 365 including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and an off site Microsoft Azure environment
• Monitor, maintain, and upgrade physical server environment including security updates
• Manage a cloud-based backup solution and restores as necessary (CommVault)
• Administer a VM Network and provide maintenance as needed in a Citrix environment
• Troubleshoot & Assist end users with issues for 20-25 end users
• Monitor, maintain, and upgrade the network infrastructure including switches, routers, an firewalls
• Manage company licenses pertaining O365, CAD/CAM, Adobe, and cell phones
• Provide expertise on infrastructure components pertaining to selection and installation.
• Work with vendors pertaining various areas of IT

IT Support Specialist

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or greater in computer technology preferred
• 3-5 years of professional experience in a hands-on technical position
• In-depth knowledge of general networking concepts including DHCP, DNS, RAS, ETC
• In-Depth knowledge of Windows Operating Systems 7 & 10, newer version experience is a plus
• Knowledgeable of Windows Servers, can troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise
• 3 years of experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and O365
• Understanding of file share permissions and has strong documentation skills
• Strong root cause troubleshooting skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and can assist non-technical employees with issues
