Job Description

A leading healthcare provider in California is currently seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join their team in Watsonville/Salinas. This role involves working in both office and field settings, evaluating and providing essential psychological services to developmentally disabled individuals.

About the Opportunity:

  • Hybrid or Remote: Office and Field based
  • Shift: Monday - Friday, 9a-5p
  • Schedule: Start time negotiable; appointments may vary
  • Hours: Full-time, Temp to Perm
  • Setting: In-office and field visits, mileage reimbursed

Responsibilities:

The Licensed Psychologist will be responsible for:

  • Conducting psychological assessments for developmentally disabled clients.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team for diagnosis and program planning.
  • Advising and consulting on psychological service provision.
  • Participating in professional development and family consultations.
  • Evaluating and assisting in program development and improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in relevant settings
  • Doctorate in Clinical or Educational Psychology
  • Licensed to practice by the State of California Board of Psychology
  • Proficiency with psychological and behavioral assessments (e.g., WISC 5, WAIS IV)
  • Experience with children and adults in various settings
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work collaboratively and supportively
  • Flexible and adaptable to varying schedules
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with the Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Services Act
  • Familiarity with multidisciplinary team collaboration
  • Additional proficiency in specific psychological assessments
  • Empathy and strong interpersonal skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
