Job Summary: As a Lot Porter at Ralph Sellers Chevrolet in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and organized lot for our dealership. You will work as an individual contributor, responsible for ensuring that our inventory of vehicles is properly stored and displayed for our customers. Your attention to detail and strong work ethic will ensure that our lot is visually appealing and efficient, which will contribute to our overall success as a dealership. Compensation & Benefits: This is a full-time, salaried position within the auto industry. As a Lot Porter, you will receive a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off. Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and organized lot by moving vehicles to designated parking spots and arranging them in an orderly manner
• Conduct routine inspections of all vehicles on the lot to ensure they are in proper working condition
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate any concerns or discrepancies to the appropriate team members
• Assist in the parking and delivery of vehicles for test drives and customer pick-ups
• Keep the lot free of debris and ensure all vehicles are properly cleaned and detailed before being displayed for sale
• Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the success of the dealership

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in the automotive industry preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Must be able to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
