Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Market Research Consultant to support business analytics across multiple customer groups and therapeutic areas. This role is responsible for applying advanced statistical and analytical methodologies to measure marketing impact, guide resource allocation, and influence commercial strategy.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in forecasting, marketing mix modeling, ROI analysis, segmentation, and predictive modeling within the pharmaceutical industry — along with deep familiarity with industry data sources and market research best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct advanced analytics to inform brand planning, marketing strategy, and promotional resource allocation .
  • Act as a liaison between Marketing and Sales , ensuring alignment between analytical insights and business tactics.
  • Lead development of customer targets and segmentation strategies aligned to commercial goals.
  • Support forecasting and field force evolution activities through data-driven insights.
  • Execute departmental analytics processes and ensure integration of marketing strategy into sales execution plans.
  • Communicate analytical results and recommendations to internal stakeholders clearly and effectively.
  • Build organizational knowledge on analytical methodologies, data vendors, and best practices.
  • Apply continuous improvement to analytical workflows supporting evolving business needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical business analytics, marketing research, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in advanced analytics, marketing mix modeling, ROI analysis, segmentation, and predictive modeling .
  • Expertise with pharmaceutical industry data sources and digital analytical tools.
  • Strong understanding of marketing and sales processes within the life sciences sector.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Business/Data Analytics , or a related field and at least 7 years of relevant experience , OR
  • Master’s degree in a related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience in analytical methodologies and data-driven strategy.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with Cardiovascular, Renal, or Metabolic therapeutic areas is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with marketing mix modeling platforms, forecasting tools, and pharmaceutical CRM systems .
  • Strong statistical foundation with experience in data visualization, segmentation modeling, and ROI tracking .
