Job Title: Finance and Grants Analyst

Location: Houston, TX

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 per year

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in nonprofit accounting
• Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks
• Financial reporting expertise
• Grant compliance experience
• HR experience
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Procurement:

  • Oversee and manage procurement processes to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance.

• Government Compliance and Reporting:

  • Stay updated on relevant regulations and ensure the organization's compliance.
  • Prepare and submit necessary reports to government agencies.

• Finance and Grant Accounting:

  • Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Track and report on grant funds, ensuring proper allocation and utilization.

• Monitor Vendors and Partner Agreements:

  • Maintain relationships with vendors and partners, ensuring adherence to agreements.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate terms when necessary.

• Auditing:

  • Collaborate with auditors to facilitate annual audits and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Implement audit recommendations for process improvement.

• General HR:

  • Participate in HR functions, including hiring and onboarding processes.
  • Collaborate with HR to address employee financial concerns.
