Job Title: Phlebotomist II – Bristol, CT (Full-Time, Onsite)

Location: Bristol, CT 06010

Contract- 3+months

Schedule: Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM–12:00 PM, alternating Saturdays

Pay Rate: $17.50-$23/HR

Join one of the most respected names in diagnostics! We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist II to provide excellent patient care and accurate specimen collection at our Bristol Patient Service Center in Bristol, CT.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality blood draws on patients of all ages – pediatrics through geriatrics

• Handle both forensic and clinical specimen collections following established procedures

• Verify patient demographic information and ensure proper specimen labeling

• Maintain required records and documentation accurately and timely

• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment

• Create an atmosphere of trust and confidence by explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort

• Demonstrate leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence and patient confidentiality

• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient operations and exceptional service

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections

• At least 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred

• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA)

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment

• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed

• Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Keyboard/data entry experience preferred

Additional Information:

• Training locations may vary based on trainer availability

• Must complete a phlebotomy course (no state license required)
