Job Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the cheese and whey production plant.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

• Manage a team of production workers supervisors and other staff.

• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to maintain inventory levels.

• Implement and monitor production schedules to meet business targets.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant efficiency.

• Prepare and manage the plants operational budget.

• Liaise with senior management to report on plant performance and issues.

Education Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Food Science Engineering Business Administration or a related field.
• Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Extensive knowledge of dairy production processes particularly cheese and whey.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.

• Proficiency in using production management software.

• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the food industry.

• Ability to manage budgets and financial plans effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
