What You’ll Do
- Lead Projects from Start to Finish : Manage client relationships, scope projects, assemble and guide teams, maintain schedules and budgets, and deliver exceptional results.
- Be the Technical Expert : Leverage your deep engineering knowledge and understanding of codes and guidelines to tackle complex challenges. Investigate, design, analyze, and repair a wide range of structures and construction types while delivering innovative solutions.
- Mentor the Next Generation : Share your expertise to help grow the team through hands-on guidance and career development support.
- Shape the Industry : Engage in professional organizations, conferences, and technical committees to drive innovation and stay at the forefront of the field.
What You Bring
- Qualifications : Licensed PE in New York (SE preferred), with a master’s degree in civil/structural engineering.
- Experience : Ideally 15+ years of structural engineering expertise, including project management and specialized skills like failure investigations, non-destructive evaluation, and retrofitting existing structures.
- Materials Knowledge : Proficiency with systems and materials such as concrete (cast-in-place, post-tensioned, precast), steel (structural, stainless, cold-formed), wood, masonry, and more.
- Communication : Exceptional technical, written, and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with clients, teams, and industry peers.
