We are seeking a highly educated, experienced and proactive Governess/Governor for our client's toddler and school-aged child in Chappaqua, NY. The ideal candidate will support the children's growth, development, and daily care.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Experience
Proven experience as a Governess/Governor, Private Educator, or Nanny in a formal private household setting
Attributes
Calm, professional, discreet, self-motivated, proactive, and highly organized with strong communication skills
Child Development
Deep understanding of child development and educational best practices.
Schedule:
Tuesday–Saturday or Wednesday–Sunday
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
Flexibility
Adaptable to changes in scheduling and travel
Driving
Valid driver’s license with a clean record is required; occasional travel is also required.
This is a live-out position. Relocation assistance is available, and candidates should be based in or willing to relocate to the Tri-State area.
Compensation starts at $150,000 annually, plus a health stipend, and will be based on experience.
