Job Title: Test Engineer

About the Role - We’re looking for a Test Engineer II with strong problem solving, results orientation, and multi-tasking skills.You will complete standard materials and mechanical tests, review and analyze data, and write reports and communicate the results to the teams. You will also assist more senior engineers on testing related projects, consult and train others in your area of expertise, and help identify changes in protocols or equipment within the lab to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities - Test engineer II will complete standard materials and mechanical tests, review and analyze data, and write reports and communicate the results to the teams. You will work with product creation teams to ensure the quality of company footwear products.

Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering or related field required. Minimum 2 years of experience in test design, data collection, data analysis, and/or equipment design is required.

Required Skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skill with an ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audience required.
  • Experience with product and materials testing is required.
  • Experience with statistical analysis of data required.
  • Basic knowledge of biomechanics and/or CAD would be a plus.
  • Ability to travel occasionally (5%).

Preferred Skills

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with universal test machines for products.
  • Footwear or apparel testing in a lab with machines.
  • Mechanical Engineering background.
  • Go-getter, take initiative, very independent role.

Pay range and compensation package - Must be local - this role is on campus 5 days a week, M-F 8-5.
