Job Summary:

Insight Global is hiring experienced Production Supervisors to support the launch of one our clients' new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Charlotte, NC. We are looking to fill multiple supervisory positions across the following departments: winding, machining, assembly, and resin casting. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role in the planning and setup of your assigned department and will take on a leadership role as operations ramp up. This is a unique opportunity to join a foundational team and help shape a cutting-edge manufacturing environment from the ground up.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the planning team to design and implement efficient production processes for the assigned department (winding, machining, assembly, or resin casting).
• Support the setup and installation of departmental equipment and machinery.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Lead and supervise operators to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Monitor production metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Train and support team members to enhance skills and performance.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth production flow.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment performance, and inventory.

Must Have:

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing, specifically in winding, machining, assembly, or resin casting
• Strong knowledge of production processes and equipment related to the specific department, or a willingness to learn
• Electrical background - will be around high voltage equipment
• Willingness to spend time in Europe for technology transfer and training
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
• Experience in setting up new facilities or departments
• For example: involved in an acquisition, restructuring, or change management responsibilities
