Job Description

We've been retained to hire a Program Manager with a background in electronic manufacturing, able to work on the whole program lifecycle. You will report directly to the CEO as the sole Program Manager focused on FAR/DFAR defense programs, giving you the unique opportunity to shape the company’s defense strategy from the ground up.

Out client is a well-capitalized electronics manufacturing services company that combines cutting-edge technology with a commitment to excellence. They are newly venturing into the defense market, but also serve the aerospace and medical devices industries.

Key Responsibilities of the Program Manager:

1. Manage a portfolio of Defense programs, serving as the primary customer contact, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining a resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
2. Drive organic growth through follow-on orders, change orders, and new proposals in collaboration with business development teams.
3. Work closely with procurement, engineering, quality, and operations to align resources and meet program deliverables.
4. Identify and manage risks and opportunities, ensuring programs stay on track and deliverables meet or exceed expectations.

The ideal Program Manager will have the below qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in management, engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Defense or Space program management, with expertise in the electronics manufacturing services (EMS) industry
• Background in PCBA or other electronics assemblies
• PMP certification is preffered
