During your internship as an Intern for Unico, you will gain firsthand experience assisting Unico's Property Management team by developing your skills to assist in AP/AR tasks at one of our offices in the heart of Downtown Portland. ABOUT THIS POSITION

The Intern will assist the Property Management team in AP/AR tasks, assist in the areas of work order/purchase order processing, and answers billing questions. Provides administrative support to Director, General Manager, Property Manager, and other property management personnel as needed. This is approximately a 3-month-long internship.

Essential Functions include but are not limited to:

  • Track status of purchase orders.
  • Issue purchase orders and maintain logs.
  • Process invoices for accounts payable by coding, dating, obtaining appropriate signatures, and sending to accounting.
  • Assist in monthly tenant bill backs and utility recovery billings.
  • Perform administrative duties to support Property Management

  • Excellent customer relation skills and experience, with ability to interact with the general public.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to analyze moderately complex administrative details, such as planning, scheduling, reporting, and displaying data.
  • Ability to operate various computer software programs, specifically Microsoft Office Tools

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years' experience in a customer service and/or administrative position
  • Detail orientated

Noise level is moderate.Frequent interruptions are common, while under deadlines and time constraints.
