Under direction of a Public Safety Dispatch Supervisor II, the Public Safety Dispatch Supervisor I (PSDS I) provides supervision for the Public Safety Dispatchers and Public Safety Operators; coordinate and prepare monthly and daily work schedules; responsible for training dispatch personnel and establishing training needs and guidelines; prepare probationary and annual performance appraisals; accountable for daily and monthly payroll paperwork; responsible for appropriate coverage on the dispatch floor; participates in pre-employment interviews; and other duties as assigned.
