**GENERAL MANAGER North America Honeywell Building Technologies**
The objective of the role is to own the effective growth and delivery of an assigned region. To achieve annual operating plan targets through a continuous improvement process that best places the business to achieve high performance outcomes. Stabilization of process and a robust operating system will need to be in parallel to developing and maintaining executive relationships with the industry and regions of responsibly. To further develop a high performing team and deliver to a high standard of customer satisfaction, promotes diversity, inclusion and that has low attrition rates.
Lead a hardworking, engaged and high-performing team. Ensure that team members are clear on objectives and are held to account appropriately. Ensure that team members are retained and that they can develop in their careers. Instill a say/do culture internally and externally.
Maintain customer happiness at target levels and promptly resolve customer issues. Finding the balance between customer needs and stakeholder requirements. Deliver construction/ contracting projects in a manner that promotes ongoing customer relationships, but which also deliver to agreed financial and contractual outcomes.
Successful candidates will have a track record of establishing the strategy and execution growth plans within product category and/or Region. The candidate must be able to lay a strong foundation for excellence in commercial and operational performance, and consistently deliver strong top-line revenue and EBITDA.
The ideal candidate must have proven ability to maximize revenue and profitability objectives including sales, operating income, and cash. S/he will have direct responsibility for employees in the Region and indirect responsibility for Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain and other cross-functional areas. In this role, you will drive key metrics including pricing performance, delivery performance, and inventory performance. You will develop marketplace opportunities, lead sales pursuits, oversee internal processes, and provide leadership in the achievement of common goals for your assigned region. Strong partnerships with key customers and suppliers are critical.
**Key Responsibilities**
Own the regional P&L for the HBT Projects business and deliver on top line revenue and EBITDA.
Focus on building robust management operating system that establishes efficient processes and enhances operational productivity, cost management and profitability.
Support Offering Management to define branding and market penetration strategies for the region and to enhance market demand of offerings
Define and execute the product and technology roadmap to serve the unique needs of the Projects LOB customers in a differentiated way.
Drive operations, sourcing, finance functions to a common vision and deliver best-in-class performance on-time delivery, quality and service that exceed customer expectations.
Attract and develop a top talent pool that drives the growth of this business.
Drive effective Capital Allocation strategy that supports the regional business growth targets
Drive compliance and forecast quality
Avoid contractual penalties
Lower the cost of legal fees and internal cost through effective contract administration
**YOU MUST HAVE**
* Minimum Bachelor's degree, Advanced degree or MBA is preferred
* Minimum of 8 years of experience in the construction/ contracting industry; with 5+ years as P&L responsible
* Proven track record in delivering growth and financial performance for independent line of business
